- April 3, 2006:
Version 3.8.5 released. Added two new trivia modules (Queryous and Multiple Guess 10) and expanded timer (15 seconds) and Quick Quiz (50 questions) options to match Jeopardy online test.
- October 25, 2005:
Version 3.8.4 released. Typo fixed on Triv Tac Toe Final Scores screen and over 150 updates.
- July 11 2005:
Version 3.8.3 released. Fixed bug with 18-question user-created modules (could crash). About 100 questions were updated or corrected.
- April 8, 2005:
Version 3.8.2 released. Yet another trivia update. Over 400 questions were updated, corrected, or replaced.
- December 1, 2004:
Version 3.8.1 released. Another trivia update. Almost 200 questions were updated, corrected, or replaced.
- September 1, 2004:
Version 3.8.0 released. Major trivia update. Over 600 questions were updated, corrected, or replaced (most of the genus modules were rechecked).
- May 11, 2004:
Version 3.7.0 released. 4 new multiple choice modules (Multiple_Guess_8 and 9, Trillionaire_4, and Multi_Sport_3). Triv now has over 25,000 questions! Added "Random" Multiple Choice answer order option. Bug fixes include timer issues (if not set to 1-second decrements) and color issues. Over 100 trivia updates and corrections.
- March 5, 2004:
Version 3.6.3 released. Now PalmOS 6 (Cobalt) Compatible. Minor fixes to prevent unnecessary duplication of questions the first time Triv is run.
- December 18, 2003:
Version 3.6.2 released. Minor fixes to colored buttons and lines on Main screen and a couple of trivia corrections.
- October 14, 2003:
Version 3.6.1 released. 3 new multiple choice modules (Multiple_Guess_7, Multi_Sport_2, and US_Presidents_MC) and 2 new short-answer modules (Intravenous_Genus and Sports_Galore). Now over 50 bundled modules with over 23,000 questions.
- July 8, 2003:
Version 3.6.0 released. Selectable background color. Triv Grid practice mode. TrivWriter import from Memo Pad records or Doc files.
- May 13, 2003:
Version 3.5.0 released. Improved color. Fixed Trillionaire victory animation on PalmOS 5.x.
- April 24, 2003:
Tested with EruWare compact flash driver (for Sony NX60, NX70V, and NZ90). Works great!
- April 22, 2003:
Version 3.4.3 released, including 4 new geography mini-modules (country and state capitals in alphabetic and multiple choice formats). Now over 20,000 trivia questions!
- April 14, 2003:
Version 3.4.2 released, including new Choice Couplets module (all trivia questions given in rhyme). Triv is now truly a trivia suite; you can jump between Triv, TrivFind, and TrivWriter without returning to the Launcher.
- March 19, 2003:
Version 3.4.1 released, including new TrivWriter application! You can now create your own study guides, trivia challenges, etc. on your Palm device (or PC or Mac running the PalmOS Emulator). (version 3.4.0 was identical but was missing some trivia question corrections.)
- January 17, 2003:
Triv is now officially PalmOS 5 Certified!
- December 30, 2002:
Version 3.3.2 released. Passed official PalmOS 5.0 certification (response from Palm pending). Most important bug fixes concern reading from trivia modules on external cards.
- December 25, 2002:
Triv 3.3.1 released. Includes 3 new multiple choice trivia modules (genus, entertainment, and sports).
- October 15, 2002:
Triv 3.3.0 released. Now PalmOS 5.0 Enhanced!
- January 28, 2002:
Triv 3.2.3 released. Fixed bug where previous screen could be visible behind the current screen in Trillionaire and Triv Tac Toe using some new OS's.
- January 1, 2002:
Triv 3.2.2 released. Fixed bug in registration code handling (version 3.2.1 only) and bundled Xmas Xtra MC trivia module.
- December 19, 2001:
New Xmas Xtra MC (multiple choice holiday module) released (bundled with Xmas Xtra short answer module).

Triv 3.2.0 released. VFS support (SD, MMC, and other external cards) plus 3 new trivia modules. All proceeds through the end of the year will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

Triv 2.1.1 released. Fixed bug where selected module was not restored properly after exiting Triv if the modules weren't loaded in alphabetical order. The 3 modules released on 10/1 are now bundled with Triv.

Genuine Genus (genus module), Athletes Feats
(sports), and The Entertainer 3 (entertainment) released.
Triv now has over 10,000 trivia questions!
- September 13, 1999:
Triv Module Creator released. If you have access to a Macintosh, you can now create your own Triv modules. Triv can be used for trivia, tests, or any other questions you can think of.
